  • We utilize a range of data sources that we collect and process into simple text files, as LLM most effectively handles these kind of data.
  • To perform the embedding process, we send the data to OpenAI’s text-embedding-ada-002 model, which OpenAI recommends for such purposes. The results are saved in a special format compatible with the Faiss library.
  • When a user poses a question, we use the LangChain library to search the saved database for probabilities and retrieve fragments of the original texts, which we then send, along with the user’s question, to LLM GPT-4.
  • With this information, GPT-4 can accurately answer the question asked. The entire process is automated and streamlined with Python programming language.

Faiss is a library for efficient similarity search and clustering of dense vectors. It contains algorithms that search in sets of vectors of any size, up to ones that possibly do not fit in RAM. It also contains supporting code for evaluation and parameter tuning. It is developed primarily at Meta’s Fundamental AI Research group.
